In this video I show you how to replace and upgrade the rear beam bushings in a Mk1 VW.
This procedure is the same for Golfs (Rabbit in the US) as well as Cabriolets.

Rear beam bushings. Polyurethane upgrade: https://amzn.to/3i1fmkF YES this kit is right for 1980-1993 VW Cabriolets, even if amazon says it is incorrect (more at end of description*)

Torque specs:
Rear beam mounts: 45nm or 32 ft/lbs

*So...why does amazon say this kit doesn't fit 85-93 cabriolets? Because Prothane only lists the kits to fit for Rabbit/Golf/Jetta from 1975-1984. Your 85-93 cabriolet is the exact same as a rabbit body wise (aside from the convertible aspect and a few additional reinforcements). Someone from amazon/prothane just didn't update the info to include cabriolets. Rest assured, they will fit :)
