Dr Melissa Lai is a senior neonatologist and the founding director of Pro life Health Professionals Association (PHPA). With Australian law permitting abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, it is a challenging time to be a health professional. PHPA’s mission is to support health professionals and provide evidence-based advocacy against abortion and in favour of life-affirming care that values the life of the mother and her in-utero infant. 

Health professionals are encouraged to become a member of PHPA and other members of the community are invited to join PHPA as a supporter.
