The Casting On Couch is a website and YouTube Channel that creates knitting patterns and technique videos with ambitious beginner knitters in mind.

Here is a brief look at the new knitting videos that I will be uploading over the next few weeks!

I have a series of knitting videos aimed at absolute beginner knitters, including How To Knit, plus a second video that looks at two methods of tensioning the hands and achieving The Long Tail Cast On.

Look out for my Rowan Bralet in 4-ply yarn. A project that I made for my daughter that she does a fantastic job of modelling!

After my Beginner Knitters and Bralet videos, I will be uploading my Chunky Twisted Rib Series of matching knitting patterns. There is a Scarf, Beanie and Glove set, plus a Dachshund Coat. Love the idea that you can match your pet and be total fashionistas together! I hoped these knitting patterns would make great great gift ideas for both men, women and man’s best friend!
