I may be out of the mental hospital but I'm still very much in the furnace. The three years or so after my divorce were some of the best refining years of my life. Many long overdue mental health issues and immaturity were finally dealt with. God did some of His best work during that time. Current day me would have no idea what to do with old version me should we ever bump into each other at a reunion.
