Installation of an aluminum Savvy Off Road Fuel Tank in a 1997 Jeep Wrangler.
The tank was purchased during a sale and shipped to my door for a total of $415 making it the best all around choice to protect my fuel tank and fuel pump.
The flimsy stock tank guard is insufficient for any level of off roading. Four or five bills to provide a tank skid plate is a hard thing to choke down because it isn't so pretty but it's cheap when you consider the damage that could be done to your fuel tank and fuel pump if you drop off of a shelf onto the tank.
