TirtaGangga is a lush garden with water fountains and stone sculptures of mythical
creatures gushing water into bathing pools and fish ponds. TirtaGangga is a former
royal water palace named after the sacred river Ganges in Hinduism. Balinese
tradition illustrates its significance as a pilgrimage and holy water site. The water of
this place is preserved for irrigation and agricultural abundance. The lush gardens,
ponds and fountains are made for a great photo op, and the pool, which is open to the
public, is a great refreshment from the midday heat of Bali

Lempuyang Temple or PuraPenataranAgungLempuyang is one of the oldest Balinese
Hindu temple. It is on the slope of Mount Lempuyang 600 metres high above the sea
level in Karangasem region. Mount Lempuyang is considered a sacred natural point of
Bali, and its parts represent the Balinese cosmology.
There are seven temples inside the complex that make up the whole Lempuyang
Temple. The entire landscape looks very photogenic from the temple gate. The gate is
famously known as "The Gate of Heaven" providing spectacular sunset views at dusk
as it is situated high on the mountain slope. Here you can take splendid pictures while
standing in the middle of the gate with the majestic Mt. Agung Volcano in the
background
