In World War 2, Liverpool became one of the most bombed cities. Between 1940 to 1942, multiple raids on the city saw 4000 people lose their lives, and 70000 made homeless. This was known as the Liverpool Blitz.

5 miles away, at Crosby Beach, the wreckage of the buildings were taken and, if not shipped away, were left here on the sands, covering a two mile stretch. 8 decades later, this stretch of rubble is what remains of the city of Liverpool before the War. It is known as Blitz Beach.

In this video, I'm joined by youtubers ‎@daftmonkey7296  and Tales Beyond the Grave. We have all filmed our separate experiences. Please subscribe to their channels and watch their videos from Blitz Beach to see what they discover from the past.
