This video is all about lightweight camera gear I use for hiking & backpacking. I hike a lot, and keeping the weight of my backpack as low as possible is key to enjoying my time out in the mountains.

I tend to keep things simple, and although this may not work for everyone, I think the information in this video will benefit you when you are deciding on what lightweight camera gear to carry up a mountain.

I include all the weights of each item I speak about.

I’m also not going to mention the video kit I sometimes take on a hike, I want this video to be purely about the lightweight camera gear.
