Dalawang barko ng People’s Liberation Army Navy ng China ang umaligid habang isinasagawa ang ika-apat na Multilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity (MMCA) sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at ilang kaalyadong bansa sa West Philippine Sea.

Sa kabila nito, matagumpay pa ring naisagawa ang pagsasanay sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at ilang kaalyadong bansa na nilahukan din ng New Zealand sa unang pagkakataon.
