Who should take care of domestic labor in a relationship?

Gwen returned late from work with a bunch of heavy bags. She asked her husband to help her out with the groceries. But he was too busy playing a video game. Still glued to the screen, Malcolm told Gwen to hurry up with dinner. “Honey, I just got back from work. It’s 9 pm. So, dinner will be ready in about an hour”, she replied. But Malcom calmly said: “You’re a woman. Your main duty is housekeeping. Everything else is a hobby. Including your job”.

Their relationship has been like this for a while. But that evening, Gwen has had enough of Malcolm’s ignorance.
