Eating and digesting can sometimes be difficult for PF patients.

When the stomach starts to get full, it presses up against the diaphragm making it difficult to breathe. The action of swallowing food or drink temporarily makes you feel out of breath while eating. The process of digestion also uses up oxygen which can leave you feeling breathless.

Being aware of the types of foods to avoid in pulmonary fibrosis would be very helpful. Knowledge is power and these are the foods you should avoid and WHY you should avoid them.
