I hope I didn't offend anybody with my art.

I just wanted to dedicate this piece to two countries who have been (and still is) struggling with problems I can't even imagine. I'm just one young human being with no political power at my disposal. But, I still want to raise awareness in some way. I DIDN'T do this for fame, money, or self-centered wants. I just want people to know that the problems these two countries deal with are REAL and at the very least, we could stop pretending like nothing is wrong.

Pray for Somalia. Pray for Kiribati. They may not be my country, but the people there are still people. Who can feel and get hurt. Imagine if it was your own country experiencing the consequences of war or climate change. Imagine that with the intensity of these two countries' pains.

I chose to draw this because this is the only thing I CAN do in my power. To use Youtube as a platform of awareness. I love these countries from the little I know of them and I know that they don't deserve the pains that they're going through. I know that this video won't do much. But I had to try.

To Somalia & Kiribati, stay strong. Have hope. Live on. Let your heart burn bright. For you, as a person, represent your country. Not the other way around. The world will always be difficult, but giving up won't make anything easier or make the weight feel lighter. Breathe and keep breathing. You are more than what you are told to be and you are alive in every individual of your nation. Your country is not limited by your motherland. LONG LIVE SOMALIA! And yes. LONG LIVE KIRIBATI! Forever in the immortal hearts of your people.

Please, we need everyone to know.
