I usually live in the suburbs of Tokyo. Before the coronavirus outbreak, my mother bought a mountain villa at the southern foot of Mt. Yatsugatake in Japan.
Although it is called a villa, it is a small mountain hut that was built 28 years ago. While I was previewing the property, I saw a herd of deer running through the forest in front of us, and instantly decided, this is the God's will’’.
Why did we buy the villa?
1. I had some heartbreaks and wanted to seek solace in nature.
2. I gave up on car camping because I am a rain girl.
3. Mother's inheritance tax strategy (real estate has a lower appraised value)
Living in two locations is sometimes expensive, but I can't believe how much fun I had and how much my heart was healed thanks to this location.
I hope this channel will serve as a reference for those considering living in two locations.
