Halo was always known for being a franchise that made you feel unstoppable. Any enemy could be defeated and any goal could be achieved, but Halo Reach flipped this idea on its head, making you feel helpless as you try and fight for a planet you already know will fall. This direction made Halo Reach a stand out game in the series as it felt gritty and almost real when compared to the earlier power fantasies in the series which has made it one of my personal favourites.
