Sticker Shop is the entry point to buy a variety of stickers and emojis. Users can send them to their friends through LINE messenger. Since mid-2020, Sticker Shop has gone through a renewal project, where we converted all the different sticker and emoji pages from native to web. In this presentation, I will tell you what challenges come with the web that are difficult to achieve compared to native pages, and why we did the web migration in the first place.

John Edvard Reiten is a front-end engineer from Norway and game developer as a hobbyist. He joined LINE in 2020, right before the COVID-crisis and quickly adapted to working from home. He mainly works with React on Sticker Shop in LINE App and likes playing with his son while teaching him Norwegian.
