Day six of our Camino Portuguese started with a ride from our guesthouse owner, Han, to Ponte de Lima as we walked this segment the day before and didn't need to repeat it today. It was a beautiful day with wonderful scenery, waterfalls and new friends.

We did get a ride near the top of the big climb out of Codeçal from a wonderful new friend who took us for the final five miles to our guesthouse, Casa de São Sebastião, in Rubiães.

There is not much going on or to see in Rudiães except for one restaurant and a market which we visited to make our meal for the evening. We hung out poolside with our new friends watching a fire in the distance. Thank god it was put out over the evening!

Today, we walked 8 miles (12.87 km) in 4 hours and 10 minutes.
