About this video: Throughout June of 2024, Amtrak’s Downeaster ran a set of equipment with P42DC 100 “Midnight Blue” on the north end and two non-powered modified F40PH control units on the south end (one of which being phase III heritage unit 90406). I caught up with this consist at several locations along the Downeaster route in Massachusetts and New Hampshire throughout June. Details about the clips in this video are listed below.
