Sermon preached @ Mount Moriah Church on 11.03.2023

नरकको शिक्षा भनेको ईसाई सिद्धान्तको प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा (ABC) हो। प्रत्येक पापी यस वास्तविकताबाट डराएर ख्रीष्टतिर दौडनु आवश्यक छ। र त्यसपछि हरेक साँच्चै नयाँ गरि जन्मेका क्रिश्चियनहरू त्यसबाट परिपक्वतामा उक्लनेछन्।
तसर्थ, एक विश्वासमा बालक ईसाईले सधैं नरकको डरबाट परमेश्वरको आज्ञा पालन गर्ने प्रयास गर्नेछ तर परिपक्वतामा उक्लँदै गरेको क्रिश्चियनले स्वर्गमा आफ्नो 'बुबा' लाई दु:खी नबनाउनलाई आज्ञा पालन गर्न थाल्नेछ। एक परिपक्व क्रिस्चियन नर्कबाट मात्र होइन तर पापबाट नै बाँच्न चाहन्छ।

The teaching on hell is the ABC’s of Christian Doctrine. Every sinner needs to be terrified of this reality and run to Christ. And then every truly born-again Christian will ascend from it to maturity. Therefore, a baby Christian will always try to obey God out of fear of hell but a growing Christian will begin to obey God because he doesn’t want to displease his ‘Father’ in heaven. A mature Christian will hence want to be saved from sin and not just hell.
