I converted our side room into a homeschool room. This has helped not only have an area to store everything but has created a special space for our kids to enter a formal learning environment. Compared to schooling on our dining room
Table all of last year, I find having this space creates a mood where our kids know they are entering a designated learning space with special toys, books, games and acticities they know they can only use/experience in this place. This not only makes it special but has helped create a desire for all of us to do school! I totally know it’s not suited or even available for every family - but it has meant we’ve made the decision to move both our kids into the same bedroom which has made them closer even still.

I am using the Gentle Classical Preschool (now called Primer) level 2 curriculum by Erin Cox for my 4 (almost 5) year old.
