Residuals are compensation paid to actors for use of their performance in a theatrical motion picture (film) or television show, beyond the use covered by “initial compensation”( shooting time of film or television show or their session fee). I get a few of these a week. Sometimes the checks are substantial and sometimes they're pennies. Awesome actor #Dantebasco started calling it Residual Check Lottery on social media, so I'm jumping on the ban wagon. Just a fun way to open an envelope.
