Rock and roll pioneer Little Richard died Saturday at the age of 87 from bone cancer. Over a career that stretched seven decades, he was inducted into the inaugural class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, recognized with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and was been credited as a major influence on artists from Elton John and James Brown to Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney.
