A playthrough of Capcom's 1993 license-based action game for the Nintendo Game Boy, Disney's The Little Mermaid.

Like a few other early Capcom Game Boy titles, The Little Mermaid is a (mostly) faithful port the original NES game. This is hardly a bad thing, mind you - even though it was way too easy, the NES title looked and sounded pretty nice and played well. Everything was fluid and easy to control, which was especially important since every stage is a water stage (duh, she's a mermaid!). All of that is surprisingly well-retained here.

So, if you want to play as 8-bit Ariel, Capcom gives you another good way to do it. This is definitely the way to go for 8-bit handhelds - the Game Gear game is absolutely miserable, and I wouldn't recommend it in the slightest.
