Harbor View RV & Camping Resort, a small campground with all the amenities, close to so much history and the beautiful Colonial Beach, on the Potomac River.

Our Harbor View Campground Review shows you the campground with large sites, that accommodate most RV’s, with full hook ups. It has a large pool, playground and game area. The location is amazing being 15 minutes to Colonial Beach VA, a quaint town that has easy access to the beach on the Potomac River. The area is also rich in history.

RV Life takes us to many different areas and today we are in Colonial Beach. We are here is November, off season, but the weather was great for a walk along the Potomac River. We stopped at a restaurant called Dockside and had a great meal and an amazing view of the water as the sun was setting.

Colonial Beach, VA is a great area for every age, walking along the water you can take a stroller or wheel chair with ease. There is plenty of parking and a number of restaurants as well as events throughout the season.

We loved our stay at Harbor View Campground Review, the people were so nice and helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Our stay started days before we arrived, we received a call welcoming us. When we arrived we were all checked in and greeted by a host and then escorted to our spot by a guy in a golf cart. What a great welcome.

Please note they do not allow arrival after dark. The campground is dark and would be difficult to pull in, plan accordingly. We use RV Trip Wizard accurately navigate.


This campground is a Thousand Trails campground but you can stay here even is you aren’t a member. We are Thousand Trails members and we camp for about $6 a day. If you are interested in information and the best promotions.
