Day 8. Rory from Stanimals took me to the James River Bridge Trailhead to start. I said my goodbyes to all at the hostel. I hiked 8.8 miles to the top of Bluff Mountain to a dispersed campsite recommended by Data. Although extremely hazy, the view is still inspiring. The ground was too rocky for tent stakes, so I had to anchor everything with big rocks.
