In 2005 a collaboration between Meridian and Ferrari began. Ferrari’s expertise in materials and composite technology blended with Meridian’s digital audio innovation resulted in the F80. The mineral–filled composite that makes up the body of the F80 provides astonishing rigidity and high-dimensional stability for maximizing loudspeaker performance. No matter what the volume the F80 is completely free of resonance. When handling it the tactile feel of the F80 confirms this futuristic like build quality.

Everything about the F80 makes it a joy to use. The CD/DVD slot drive is smooth and fast. You’ll find the user interface very friendly and the display extremely clear due the latest OLED technology. The brightness of this display can be adjusted. A volume knob is provided at the side and F80 comes with a slim size easy to use remote control. What makes the sound? The powerful heart of the F80 is a high integrity digital sound system, based on Meridian’s DSP technology. In the front are left and right full range drivers and a special long throw sub at the rear with each driver in it’s own compartment. Nothing is spared in these custom designed and made drivers. The DSP design crossover provides full spectrum sound from crystal clear upper end detail to deep warm bass.
