As part of the Student Activities for Exploring Statistical Concepts Workshop Series, Beth Chance looks at sampling techniques, both biased and unbaised, using words from the Gettysburg Address. Concepts are explored through students creating samples themselves as well as sampling with computer applets and the resulting distributions obtained.
