One of the main reasons we are motivated to be Christian is to live for God and have the unshakable assurance of eternal life. I have selected this passage which I believe demonstrates that when a person becomes a part of the family of God, that means justified by God, nothing can separate him/her from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
Nothing in this life and nothing in death can separate a believer from God’s love. In the COVID 19 world, the two things we fear most dying and living are not threats to our eternal life. Whether we live or die, we are in His love. Just like I cannot cease being the son of my parents once I was born, so too I cannot cease being a son of God once I am born again.
In the same token, we can no more be unborn spiritually than we can go back and be unborn physically. The grace of God is with us. We are part of his family and more than conqueror forever.
In summary, the idea that a saved person can lose eternal life by ceasing to believe in Christ or by departing into a life of moral impurity is completely negating to the Gospel of Grace. This I believe. Let the Spirit of God be with your spirit.
