Highlights from the Michigan Wolverine's 1985 season. The team finished the season 10-1-1 and ranked number 2 in the AP Poll. The regular season finale was a 27-17 victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes. In the post season, the Wolverines were victorious over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Fiesta Bowl.

Quarterback Jim Harbaugh set a school record with 1,976 passing yards. Four Michigan defenders were selected as first-team players on the 1985 All-Big Ten Conference football team: Mike Hammerstein and Mark Messner from the defensive line, linebacker Mike Mallory, and Brad Cochran from the secondary.
