Join us as we explore where the Texas State Park system began: Mother Neff State Park near Waco TX! Named for Isabella "Mother" Neff, this park is considered the first state park in Texas. The land was donated by the Neff family and the park was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) between 1934 and 1938.

In this video we share the park renovations that were completed in 2015 including the new full-hookup campground with 30 and 50 amp electrical power. We take you with us as we explore the CCC history and hiking trails of Mother Neff.
