Gunung datuk merupakan paling popular di rambau negeri sembilan, Malaysia. terletak di antara Batang Nyamor, Rembau dan Kuala Johol, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. berketinggian setinggi 884 meter bersamaan 2900 kaki dari paras laut. Gunung ini merupakan salah satu dua gunung di penghujung selatan banjaran Titiwangsa.

Kaunter permit pendakian berada dikaki gunung datuk, bayaran permit 5 ringgit bagi warganegara dan 20 ringgit bagi bukan warganegara. Kemudahan asas dikaki gunung seperti dewan solat, tandas, pondok rehat, tempat letak kenderaan dan gerai makan sudah tersedia.

trail pendakian disini berbatu dan berakar, permulaan pendakian sedikit memanjat dan berbatu. lepas CP1 barulah trail pendakian yang santai dan sesekali memanjat. masa pendaki ke puncak bergantung pada stamina pendakian. ada 2, 3jam dan ada jugak 1jam mendaki dah sampai puncak gunung datuk.

Gunung datuk menyimpan seribu satu kisah sejarah, dikatakan terdapat kesan tapak kaki Hang Tuah dipuncak gunung datuk. sejauh mana kebenarannya tidak pasti sehingga ke hari ini. sama ada sejarah ataupun mitos semata-mata.

Tidak jauh dari Gunung datuk terdapat dua lagi Gunung, Gunung Gagak dan Gunung Rembau. sekiranya berminat mendaki dua Gunung ini dinasihatkan bawak map atau guide berpengalaman.
kedua-dua gunung ini mempunyai cerita mistik dan sejarahnya tersendiri. ada pendaki hilang sehingga kini tidak dijumpai dan ada yang melalui kedua-dua ini terdengar bunyi sungai. sejauh mana kebenarannya aku sendiri tidak pasti.
