It’s the biggest news story in South Australia football history on Tuesday July 31st 1990 the news broke that the Port Adelaide Football Club has made a bid to join the AFL the remaining 9 SANFL clubs reacted strongly and went to the court room it was revealed in 1986 that the SANFL registered a company called the Adelaide Football Club then on Wednesday September 19th 1990 the AFL approved the bid for a South Australia team in the AFL competition in 1991 called the Adelaide Crows this is a unbelievable story of Port Adelaide’s bid to join the AFL ended in the court room and it gave birth to the Adelaide Crows enjoy the video.
