A couple weeks ago, my Civic suddenly lost power and entered limp mode. The car would idle but would not respond to throttle. Pulled on the shoulder of the road, I did a quick power-balance test and diagnosed that the ignition coil was defective. This got the car to run for about 4 minutes, and then it entered limp mode again. Thankfully, I was able to get the car towed back to the garage. Can I get the civic running again? Will I have to retire for this season of autocross?
