Story behind the dance:

This dance piece combines elements of kaparima/aparima, infused with both Tahitian and Cook Islands motions. While the dance group primarily embraces Tahitian traditions, this choreography has been crafted as a tribute to their leader, who hails from the Cook Islands. To honour their background, the essence of both cultures has been incorporated into the movements, creating a unique and meaningful fusion.
