Sound is a vibration that travels through mediums and creates universal sensations of pitch, volume, and tone color. Despite the several variations of sound, everything can be perfectly created using simplistic sine waves. Through the mathematics of the Fourier series, we can create a world of unique patterns through the simple periodic shape of sine. Why does this happen, how does it sound, and can we visualize these waves?
