About Auroville:

Matrimandir: The Matrimandir (Sanskrit for Temple of The Mother) is an edifice of spiritual significance for practitioners of Integral yoga, in the centre of Auroville established by The Mother of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram.

Matrimandir Inner Chamber: The Inner Chamber is open to visitors every morning except Tuesday & Sunday. Booking on an individual level is required. Reporting time for all visitors is 8.30 am.
