Everybody’s asking them
Why they’re sold out
Asking them why their faith
Is what they talk about
They tell them pastors what’s the deal With all this Jesus stuff
they try to elaborate but to tell it all is really tough
Listen if you’ve never been at the Brink of hell
It’s hard to understand somebody Who literally fell
And when God decides to save you You give it all
Doesn’t matter where he sends you
You heed the call

Cos many are lost confused
And they are Really hurt
The only life in their souls is death
And it is burnt
Until the day that this Jesus
He comes into their stress
Sheds his light through the word
He comes to fix the mess
They don’t deserve it but
God loves them anyway
His mercies new every morning
They get it everyday
So while you talking and asking Pastors
Why they’re doing this
Excuse them while they follow Jesus
They not playing with this

They may not know who you are
The gospel is what they came to share

One life to live and then
There is heaven or hell
Make up your mind right now

To Jesus Christ you belong
This is the message pastors preach
It won’t be long
It’s the simple message they have for you

The great Shepherd Jesus so all the Battles could be won

And then He gave us under-shepherds like these
To share the Word

I’m grateful for my Pastors and I think you should be too
I never said that they were perfect
Cos everyday God’s grace is new
While we live on this earth
Pastors are key in the Five-old
And from 0 to 100, we all need them, don’t matter how old

Be thankful for the light, the love, the chill and revelation
There are many churches out there
But the fact you’re here has got a reason
And the pastors here God put in your life
To speak a word in due season
It ain’t always easy to deal with sheep
And pastors come to share in everything
From when we’re born to when we sleep
In times of trials and merry things
As I bring my rhyme to a close
