"Questa e' la vita" (1954) ["Of Life and Love"] is the next film scheduled by Cineforum Dante 2024, on Wednesday, September 11th at 6:00 PM, at the Ross Lecture Theatre (Physics Building), UWA Campus.

This is a film composed of four episodes, directed by four different directors and based on four tragicomic tales by Luigi Pirandello. The movie was also chosen to provide critical and visual support to the Luigi Pirandello study course for UWA Italian students. The episodes in the film are:

"La giara": directed by Giorgio Pastina, starring Turi Pandolfini, Natale Cirino, Domenico Modugno.
"Il ventaglino": directed by Mario Soldati, starring Myriam Bru.
"La patente": directed by Luigi Zampa, starring Totò, Mario Castellani, Carlo Giuffré.
"Marsina stretta": directed by Aldo Fabrizi, starring A. Fabrizi, Walter Chiari, Lucia Bosé.
The film is a classic of our cinema, presented for the first time here in Australia with English subtitles. Free admission as always!
