In this episode, we continue our investigation into the development of Windows Vista (Codename "Longhorn") with build 5600, the official Windows Vista Release Candidate 1 build from August 2006. This build showcases many finalisations in the UI, such as a final set of wallpapers (although some older ones would still be removed by the time of RTM), a final selection of sidebar gadgets and the Windows Aero cursor scheme.
