The Nutcracker and the Mouse King (German: Nussknacker und Mausekönig) is a story by E. T. A. Hoffmann in which young Marie and Fritz were given a wooden Nutcracker as a gift from their uncle Drosselmeier. It becomes Marie's favorite Christmas toy, and she would later realize, it was a magical Nutcracker! Watch the story to see how he will come alive and defeat the evil Mouse King.
