Last month, the Stone & Quoin studio at 6 Manton hosted an exhilarating event that had us all waiting with bated breath - the annual Steamroller Community Print Event in South Australia! People from all walks of life, from beginners to experts and even children, were invited to participate in this thrilling event.

All they had to do was create a unique linocut on a given theme and bring it to the studio. On the big day, these linocuts were used to print designs on tote bags, tea towels, and gigantic banners. But the real showstopper was the banner printing, which was not done using a traditional printing press but a massive steamroller! It was an unforgettable experience that was both fascinating and fun.

It was a celebration of creativity, community, and collaboration, and the organizers, participants, and supporters who made it possible deserve a big round of applause for their efforts.
