Hey! Here I'm shooting and reviewing a Praktica Super TL1000 – a bog-standard "run-of-the-mill" Praktica SLR camera! But, as it sometimes happens with those simple things ... it really grows on me! So watch this video to find out why!
These L series Prakticas were made between 1969 and 1989. There are a million different variants and brand names ... but they all share the internals and their unmistakable, simple, boxy design!

This camera was originally sold in the early 1980s in Aalsmeer in the Netherlands by a photo store that was run by Gerard Eijsbouts, who passed away a couple of years ago: "The photographer who didn't want to be a photographer"!
