These wheels represent a recent trend towards wheels with constantly varying section. Some examples include the Princeton Carbon Works Wake and the Zipp 454.

Overall performance of these wheels was good. The only real issue were the hubs. This was fed back to Lightbicycle who have since redesigned the preload system to take on board the comments.

LB's customer service is extremely slick, one of the most professional I have come across in the bike industry.
