In this video I explore how to do the equivalent of beat detective in logic pro x. If this were a Pro Tools vs Logic Pro debate however, Pro Tools would win hands down in this department.
But this shouldn't deter you from learning how to edit drums professionally in Logic Pro X if you don't have Pro Tools. You don't need beat detective to do a good job of editing your drum tracks.
This isn't an apples for apples comparison or a in depth tutorial. If you want a full tutorial on how to edit drums please check out my Complete Drum Editing Tutorial ( • The Complete Tutorial for Editing Dru... ).
Once you understand how to do it, you can use this video to apply the same principles in Logic Pro X.
For a really in depth video that explains more of what it is I talk about in this video please check out this video by Dubnickmusic ( • How To Emulate A Beat Detective Workf... )
Thanks again for taking time to watch this video and hope it helps!
