Jimmie Lovell, Chairman of the board, Big Brutus Inc. Jimmie worked with Carmen Boccia as an electrician on Brutus. Carmen was hired on at P&M in 1951, way before Brutus. Jimmie started with P&M in 1957. Brutus, The 1850B, was built in 1962 and went into service in 1963. Brutus, has a 95 yard bucket, it replaced the 950B Shovel, built by Bucyrus Erie, that had a 33 yard bucket. Both men worked together at Brutus everyday until it shut down in 1974.
