Detailing my experience with the Cajun Gun Works optic milling service. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. I am not trying to put the company on blast, just share my experience with others who may be looking to get work done.

Keep in mind, I only had two slides milled so my sample size is small. I know they have milled thousands of slides and do tons of custom gun work. I hope this was a fluke and I just got unlucky. I would love to hear the experiences of others who had CGW do work on their guns, so please share in the comments.

I have tried to give CGW a fair shake and represent my experience accurately, my issues with the service while also pointing out what they did well.

I will continue to buy their CZ pistol parts as they are fantastic and I have never had a problem with them. I put their parts in all my CZ pistols. I just wouldn't have them do custom gun work or machining for me again.
