Silk Sonic, made up of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, released their second single, ‘Skate’, on July 30, 2021 from their upcoming debut studio album, ‘An Evening with Silk Sonic’. The music video for the song was released the same day and was directed by Bruno Mars and Florent Dechard and co-directed by Phil Tayag. The track was written by both Silk Sonic members, DOMi, J.D. Beck, James Fauntleroy and D’Mile; who also produced the track alongside Bruno.
