This is our first family camping ever. July 2nd thru July 4th. We spend 3 days 2 nights at Cheesequake State Park, New Jersey. Located at 300 Gordon Rd, Matawan, NJ 07747. We wanted to camp just for a night, but we can't book the site online if we want to have only one night. So we have to take 2 nights for online booking. We paid $45 for our camp there.
The campsites are family-friendly. We are so glad that we found this camping area, which is still in the middle of the city and has great facilities. We got campsite number 4, so in front of us is the playground and the bathroom. It is very convenient for us, as we have a 5-year-old kid and if in the middle of the night we have to go to the bathroom, we just need to walk a couple of steps. The bathroom was clean and it has showers, so don't worry about the sanity. The water source also works perfectly, so perfect that can splash you and makes you smile.
Our experience at Cheesequake State Park was awesome, make sure to visit there for your next camping agenda.
