In 1755, a terrible war rages in the English colonies. The fertile land in Ohio becomes the subject of cruel clashes between major European powers. In the process, the local families fall by the wayside, as they are the ones who suffer from the fighting. But the opponents from Europe are not the only enemies; members of indigenous tribes also attack the inhabitants and take hostages. Among the victims are two sisters. The song "Alone Yet Not Alone", which they know from childhood, gives them hope. But then they are separated from each other. The older of the two, Barbara (Kelly Greyson), trusts and believes in God. This gives her the strength to attempt an escape. But will she manage to make the 200-mile journey home through the naked wilderness?
