In December of 2021, the driveway was paved for the first time. At that time we could back our class A RV up the driveway with only an occasional scrape of the rear skids. About a year later, the local municipality paved the road that connects to the driveway. That raised the crown of the road and made it impossible to get the RV up the driveway without a great deal of effort involving many pieces of oak cribbing. We had the paving contractor try to modify the driveway on two occasions, but it was an impossible task. In August of 2024, we contacted our excavator and had him realign the driveway for a more gradual approach to the road. That solved the problem. The work you see in the video was done by a single individual operating multiple pieces of equipment.
