How To Give Impactful Feedback
In last week’s training we talked about leading difficult conversations. It was a tough one. Hahaha.
No but seriously, coaching and feedback is a hard one. Giving feedback effectively can be uncomfortable. Constructive feedback is a must, but it doesn’t come naturally. We need to be trained on how to effectively do so, so that it lands. I mean you’ve hired these rockstars (let’s hope) and you want them to be happy right? So when they submit something that is less than stellar well it’s tough to be able to tell them - um excuse me but this isn’t your best work.
In today’s episode we will discuss methods of giving feedback or essentially how to give feedback to team members in a way that inspires change. We will dive into how to give constructive feedback to employees as well as positive feedback communication.
I will also be sharing a method that I read in the book Permission to Screw Up by Kristen Hadeed! It’s a great feedback for managers method.
